SOUND RELAXATION SESSION We will finish the day with a full one hour sound relaxation session, delivered by two experienced sound therapists. When we engage in sound relaxation, our brainwaves are slowed down, taking us into an altered state, similar to meditation. This is deeply relaxing and allows the body to return to homeostasis, where natural healing can take place. The added benefits are reduced stress, better sleep, and a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation. WHAT TO BRING Please bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket, and some water to drink. CONTRAINDICATIONS It is not recommended that you attend sound relaxation if any of these apply; - If you are in the first 3 months of pregnancy - If you have epilepsy, seizures or an ‘unmanaged’ mental health condition (such as bi-polar, schizophrenia, or any form of complex trauma) - Severe heart conditions You may be more sensitive to Sound Therapy If you have metal plates, have had recent surgery, broken bones or other major physical injuries, have a pacemaker, or if you suffer from tinnitus.
