Yoga's roots are firmly grounded in history and ancient texts. It’s teachings are full of insight and wisdom. We can tap into this nourishing wisdom in our daily lives each time we practice yoga. Through yoga we can nurture and replenish the body, tune into and calm the breath, observe and become familiar with the nature of the mind, and practice kindness and compassion towards ourselves, others and this beautiful planet. Through yoga we can experience our true essence, beyond this body, beyond this mind, beyond this lifetime.
